What Is A Black Community?

So this is a piece done by someone very close to me.  It started out as two voice notes and the idea to create the slideshow/video came from trying to find a way to deliver the message.

I realize that not everyone will agree with certain POV's but I encourage the exchanging of ideas and wisdom.  I want everyone's opinion on what we can do to better ourselves as a people. This is just one opinion and I know there are countless more out there.  So leave me your feedback on where you think we are headed and what we can do to change it.

Crazy Natural Inc.

One of the thing I am going to try to do is introduce people to ways to support black businesses.  We don't support each other enough, and that's why everyone else gets our money.  If we concentrated all of the money we have on supporting each other, instead of weave, liquor, flashy cars, and clothes made for us by people that aren't us, we could shut all of these other people down.  While I'm not saying I want to run everyone out of business, I do want to see my fellow Black men and women supporting each others efforts. So I want to introduce you to Crazy Natural Inc.

Crazy Natural Inc is a black created hair and beauty line that I found on Instagram.  I honestly don't remember how I ended up following the creatrix of the line, but the universe meant for us to connect.  I was given the chance to try out the African Black Soap Shampoo and the Shea Coconut Deep Conditioner.  These two products are amazing.  The shampoo cleansed my hair without leaving it dry, or straw-like (come to think of it, my hair felt better after using the shampoo).  I was also able to finger detangle my hair using just the shampoo.  The conditioner has a nice thick consistency, due to the large amount of shea butter that makes up the conditioner.  Upon washing the conditioner out of my hair, my hair still felt soft, and moisturized.  I have also tried co-washing with the Shea Coconut Conditioner with equally satisfaction.

Pros:

  • affordable
  • nourishing to hair
  • good quality ingredients
  • easy detangling
Cons:
  • my mailman comes late in the afternoon and I have to wait all day for it to get here (Which has nothing to do with the actual product)
  • NONE

Who am I?

I came up with the idea for this blog a few nights ago.  I seem to be having a lot of late night inspiration.  First the image for my next tattoo and now this blog.  I shot the idea around with my friend/fellow YouTuber and decided to go for it.

I'm on a spiritual journey, and I thought I would bring you along for the ride.  The past seven years of my spiritual life have been an amazing and challenging experience which ultimately brought me to this point.  I have made some amazing friends that have helped me to wake up (or at least start to).  I'm not going to claim being 100% conscious to what's going on in the world, but as I wake up and learn about who I am, so can you.

This blog is going to be Black.  Black designers, black books, black news, black history, black spirituality, black hair, etc.  If I have seen it, read on it, worn it, ogled over it, been put on it, you will be see it.  I'm going to try to post a minimum of three times a week, more if possible.  This is my mission, and with that being said, welcome to my world.
